A review of Lark's work:
Dynamic artist, Lark Faykus Kaskie, whose work in various mediums include sculpture in wood, clay and copper as well as paintings and drawings in oil and acrylic. Malleable mediums, brilliant, soft, efficient, expressive, passionate, warm, all express Lark's work. The Masters' influence her, Rembrandt, Picasso, Matisse, and others. Lark's art has been displayed around the world from Seattle to Budapest. An arttist for 30 years, Lark has studied in New York, Amsterdam, Greece, California and Texas.
One writer noted, "She finds her subject and records the beauty in their souls. Her work is a pictoral transformation of ghosts from the past to the romantic dreams of the present."
Lark is a graduate of the University of Texas. She has been an Associate Art Teacher at Bellaire High School and has taught sculpture at Leisure Learning in Houston, Texas. Lark, having a successful art and consulting business, brings warmth, energy and life to her community!
